Original verse and music.

a world of many hurtles
ignoring it underground
yeah I suddenly realised
gazing is not enough
the sullen dullin’ thang
why’d it turn out like this?
who caught the licks?
Gong and Wreck before
Hope and then Christ
breathing through the bonfire
so people back away on the train –
so far, so good,
watching the beginning
backing away
it makes the greatest difference
if one stays until the end.
Isn’t it? the idea of slowly
worms and forms
one would restrict
one would as the voles
under sound, every bit of dark
towel away the thought
high as time and
let’s see what happens
when one has only moving
under trains to go by
wonder if a still life
would ever be enough.
what you might want
down here, to resist
all of the eyes away
the sight one can barely imagine
it really is a world etc. …
